This is one of my pet peeves. Packing something small in a huge box. I actually remember the first item that made me shake my head. I had to buy a single light for my rear brake bar thing on my truck. For some reason I got it at the dealer because I could not find one the worked or some such deal. Anyway the bulb is a sub-minature, like a Christmas tree bulb, and the single lamp came in a box that was about an inch square by a about 3 inches long, no other packing material. In contrast when we order these at work for use in audio consoles they come 10 to a bag, no box around them, I have yet to find one broken.

The reason it pisses me is the waster in material and cost. There is no reason for it. Amazon is famous for this also, but last night I was pleased to find my new shoes came in a box just larger than the shoe box my shoes were in.

Anyone use this stuff? I am looking for something keyboard and electronics safe, just incase the flu stuff breaks. I want to keep multi-user keyboards and studios as germ free as possible.

I like this shoe. It is made from some recycled and sustainable materials. The company (Simple Shoes) also tries to be ethical. These shoes, on amazon are about $10 CHEAPER than Chuck Taylor All Stars. I am thinking I will try these.
